My Approach
An Integrative Person-Centred, Humanistic-Existential and Psychodynamic Synthesis

My approach to counselling is integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic models and perspectives in order to support your individual needs in a flexible and meaningful way.

I understand that people experience emotional distress differently, and that what may be helpful for one person may not necessarily be helpful for another.
As such, I do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. Instead, I work collaboratively with you to develop a therapeutic process that feels supportive, relevant and responsive to your evolving needs.

At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship itself — one built upon Trust, Empathy, Authenticity and Respect.
I aim to provide a space where you feel emotionally safe enough to explore difficult or uncomfortable experiences without fear of judgement.

Together, we may explore:

-
Emotional patterns and recurring difficulties
-
Past experiences and unresolved trauma
-
Relationships and attachment dynamics
-
Anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm
-
Self-esteem and identity
-
Behavioural patterns and coping mechanisms
-
Intimacy, sexuality and relational connection
-
Personal growth and emotional resilience

My integrative focus allows me to adapt to the changing circumstances within your life journey while supporting your emotional wellbeing, self-care and personal development throughout the process.

As therapy progresses, the work may deepen and evolve naturally.
Some sessions may focus on immediate emotional support and grounding, while others may involve deeper reflection, insight and long-term change.
